UGH

As a small child I was diagnosed with ADD. Of course my teacher mother never wanted me on the meds. So we used many other methods to help with my ADD. I think my procrastination is directly connected with the ADD. Or perhaps it was never ADD after all, just a child with really bad procrastination habits!
So here are some of my "Issues":

I have a hard time working(on homework) during daylight.- I think this stems from sports in school. I rarely remember a night that we weren't at a game or practice or with my mother at the school. So darkness is needed to get my work done.

I cannot work on a messy surface- no here's where it gets tricky. My messy and other people's messy are different! I just want it organized, it can still be cluttered. If I can distract myself with cleaning... I will! Even though I HATE cleaning!

I must listen to music, but I will not wear headphones or to one artist on a CD. I NEED radio that I can pick and choose. Thank you Pandora!!!

If I know a project is due on a certain day. I will start at the last possible minute. If I know the project will take me two days... you better believe I start two days before it is due! I am HORRIBLE!

I am an obsessive list writer. So instead of doing the work at hand, I will write a list of work for tomorrow.

Some days I really think I need a personal assistant, why don't you get one of those for grad school?
